The Land o’ Lakes Artisans’ Guild is a self-supporting organization established to enhance the arts in our area’s communities. Our mission is to increase the visibility of artisans in the area and to contribute to the economic development of our region.
Membership
Individual Member
The Guild is made up of Individual Members only. Individual members are entitled to one (1) vote each at all Meetings of the Members of the Guild, and at the Annual General Meeting of the Guild.
Membership Fee
The annual membership fee for an Individual Member of the Guild as set by the AGM (the annual membership fee is currently $50.00). The current membership years runs from April 1 to March 31 of the following year.
Membership Benefits
Members are entitled to receive all notices, minutes of meetings, and other benefits voted on by the membership as happens from time to time. Membership also entitles the member to one space in the annual brochure as defined by the brochure requirements, (the deadline for inclusion in the brochure is June 15th); one page on the Guild’s Website; entry to exhibits hosted by the Guild; and limited space in window displays sponsored by the Guild. The information for the brochure and the website will consist of one member’s work for one membership fee. As the Guild is in its early stages other benefits to the Members will become available as time passes and projects evolve.
Withdrawal of Membership
Any Member may withdraw from the Guild by either delivering to the Guild a written resignation and lodging a copy of same with the Secretary of the Guild or by failing to renew his or her annual membership.
