Leo Joseph Enright
ENRIGHT, Leo Joseph - Passed away at his residence in Sharbot Lake, Ontario on Monday, August 10, 2009 in his 67th year. Loving husband of Denise Sabatini-Enright. Son of the late Peter and Rita Enright. Brother of Tim of Read, ON and Peter (Linda) of Gloucester. Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the BURKE FUNERAL HOME, 150 Church St., Belleville 613-968- 6968 on Friday, August 14, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Charles Borromeo Roman Catholic Church in Read on Saturday, August 15, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Interment St. Charles Cemetery, Read. Leo was a charter member of LOLAG and participated in almost all of the craft shows. He enjoyed talking to people about astronomy regardless of their level of knowledge.
He will be missed.
Ken Brandly
Ken was a charter member of LOLAG, active in the Guild throughout his battle with cancer. Ken passed away August 12, 2009.
BRANDLY, Kenneth Erwin- 70 years, entered peacefully into eternal rest at St. Mary's of the Lake Palliative Care Unit on Tuesday, August 11, 2009.Beloved husband of Rev. Anne Brandly, Ken is survived by his children: Lisa ( Rock), Craig ( Julie), Carolyn ( Dan), Aaron ( Laura), all of British Columbia; stepchildren: Rick ( Laura), Lizanne ( Otto), Karyn ( Paul), Eric, all of Ontario, and ten grandchildren. He will be fondly remembered by his brother, Dwayne ( Betty) and family, and brothers-in-law Chris ( Jill) and Steve ( Kim). Cremation has occured, according to Ken's wishes. A memorial service is planned for Thursday August 27th, at 2:00 pm at St. Paul's Anglican Church, Mill St. Sydenham. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Instead of flowers, the family requests donations be made to either Invitation to Live Ministries, 119-20 Isherwood Drive, Cambridge ON N1R 8P8, or St. Paul's Church, Sydenham ON.
